This month we are sharing scenes from…our favorite places. One of my favorite places in my house is our kitchen table. We do all sorts of things besides eating at our table and it is often the central hub of action in our home. It serves as the place for homework, building legos, doing crafts, playing games and hanging out with friends or family. During the month of December we spend a lot of time at the table doing our 25 days of Christmas activities. One of those activities is always baking roll out sugar cookies and decorating them. This is a well-loved tradition in my family. My mother baked and decorated cookies with me and my brothers every single year and I wanted to continue the tradition with my own children. I loved documenting this process this year. My older son was having too much fun riding bikes with friends to bake with me this year, but my youngest was extremely excited to help. I will treasure these images for years to come.
Please take a look at the images from my friend Erica after you have had a look through mine.
