Brotherly Love

This past Saturday morning I noticed that my boys had matching bed head. I wanted to capture that moment of sameness and hoped they would display a little brotherly love, which seems to be rare these days. Quite often the sound of the two of them together involves whining and fighting. But, they do love each other. I used the bribe of ice cream later in the day to get them to come with me and take a few photos. I wanted simplicity and emotion. And hoped for a decent portrait since I hadn’t taken one of them together in so long. These will have to be printed. I love them so much. Just a few minutes, some love, and laughter can help create a perfect memory.

When was the last time you were sitting around on a weekend sipping coffee and noticed something about the little details of your life that you wanted to remember forever? Did you take the time to document it? If you didn’t, it’s never too late. Pick up a camera or use the camera on your phone and snap a pic. Don’t worry about perfection, just capture the moment. And then make sure you print it.
